Summary

Dr. Pira graduated from medical school in Quezon City, Philippines in 1973. She completed her obstetrics and gynecology residency in Manila, Philippines in 1984 and a family medicine residency at Hennepin County Medical Center in 1995. After completing her residency training, she joined the HCMC Department of Family Medicine as a faculty physician. She divides her time between patient care and teaching. Her special interests include obstetrics and gynecology, colonoscopy, and healthcare for Southeast Asian and Somali populations.
