NorthPoint Health & Wellness Center’s Community Food Shelf is participating in the state’s largest food drive, known as the Minnesota FoodShare March Campaign. The campaign is designed to bring Minnesotans together to fight hunger through community action. Local food shelves like NorthPoint reach out to their neighbors, friends and business supporters to collect donations of money and food that goes to help reduce hunger in our community.
NorthPoint’s goal is to collect a combined total of 40,000 in pounds of food and cash donations during the month of March. Donations of cash and food can be collected beginning February 27th through April 8th 2017. Any amount you give helps because contributions donated during this period will be partially matched by Minnesota FoodShare. All food donations can be dropped off at the food shelf during regular business hours.
